i didnt attend agri practical exam and board and kcet combined for pcb i get nearly 77 can i get agriculture seat under kcet

kumardurgesh1802 24th May, 2025

Hello there,

If you did not attend the agriculture practical exam, you will not be eligible for the agriculture quota seats under KCET. The agriculture practical exam is mandatory for claiming seats under the agriculture quota .

However, since your KCET score combined with board marks for PCB is around 77, you may still have a chance for general quota agriculture seats, but chances are low because cutoffs for agriculture courses are usually high.

Admission depends on:

  • Category and reservation status

  • Number of applicants

  • Availability of seats in participating colleges

You should still participate in the counseling process and list agriculture courses in lower preference just in case a seat becomes available. Also, consider related courses like horticulture, sericulture, or forestry if you're open to alternatives.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

my practical marks is 192 and theory 73% and kcet marks is 106 my agri ranking will be

Nikita shahi 11th Aug, 2025

Hello,

Agriculture ranking in KCET is calculated differently from engineering or medical streams because it combines both your theory, practical marks, and your KCET score in the Biology subject area. With 192 in practicals , 73% theory marks, and a KCET agriculture score of 106, you stand a fair chance of securing a decent agricultural rank. While the exact rank can only be determined by the KEA’s official calculation method each year, historically, such a profile tends to fall in the mid to lower thousands if competition is average, but can vary widely depending on the number of applicants that year. Keep in mind that your practical marks carry a good weightage in agri ranking, so your high practical score is definitely in your favor. keep an eye on your category-specific cutoffs. Even if your general merit rank seems high, category reservation could work to your benefit.

Wishing you success !

in christ university , BANGLORE.. WHAT IS THE CODE OF KCET

kumardurgesh1802 24th May, 2025

Hello Varshini,

Christ University in Bangalore does not participate in the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) for admission to its undergraduate engineering programs. Instead, the university conducts its own entrance examination known as the Christ University Entrance Test (CUET). Therefore, there is no specific KCET code assigned to Christ University.

If you're interested in pursuing a B.Tech program at Christ University, you should apply through the CUET process. Detailed information about the application procedure, eligibility criteria, and important dates can be found on the official Christ University admission portal.

For admission to B.Tech programs in Karnataka through KCET, you may consider other institutions that participate in the KCET counseling process. Each participating college has its own KCET code, which is used during the counseling process to select preferred colleges and courses.

sir or mam My pcm score is 292 and kcet is 108 what will be my predicted KCET rank?

Rupsa Banerjee 4th Aug, 2025

Dear aspirant,

Based on your PCM score of 292 out of 300 and KCET score of 108, your predicted KCET rank would likely fall in the range of 5000 to 8000 . Your 292 in PCM is equivalent to a high percentage, likely above 90% ,on the other hand a score of 108 in KCET, out of 180, falls within the range that generally corresponds to the ranks mentioned above. The exact rank can vary slightly depending on the overall difficulty of the KCET exam and the performance of other candidates that year. For more information you can visit this link given below. Neet 2025 expected marks for obc category

Nikita shahi 2nd Aug, 2025

Hii,

As an OBC candidate, your expected qualifying marks for NEET 2025 would likely be around 130–140 out of 720 to pass. However, getting a seat especially in government medical colleges requires much higher marks, typically 550–600+ depending on the state and annual competitiveness.

For BDS or BHMS seats, a score between 470–520 can suffice in some states. Private colleges may offer seats even at 350–450 NEET marks but be prepared for higher tuition.

Thank you!

My kcet mark is 60 and board id 231/300 can I get bams seat

kumardurgesh1802 23rd May, 2025

Hello there,

With 60 marks in KCET and 231/300 in PCM from the Karnataka board, getting a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) seat is difficult through KCET , especially in government colleges , as BAMS admissions are mainly through NEET , not KCET.

Here's what you should know:

  • BAMS admission is based on NEET score , not KCET.

  • KCET is for engineering, agriculture, and some other professional courses—not medical.

  • If you didn’t appear for NEET, you cannot get a BAMS seat under the regular process.

You can explore alternative courses under AYUSH only if you've written NEET or consider related fields like B.Sc. in allied health sciences.
