I want to know my rank in MET against my mark of 122/240

gopi 16th May, 2025

Hi Shanthini,

Given your score of 122 out of 240 in the Manipal Entrance Test (MET), your predicted rank is usually between 6,000 and 7,000 depending on the conditions of the exam and the performance of the other students.

i have scored 91percent in boards and 92 marks in met what could be my possible rank and what branches I can get at manipal?

tanvi bansal 23rd Jul, 2025

Dear Aspirant,

With a board score of 91% and a MET score of 92, your estimated rank is likely to fall between 20,000 and 25,000, based on previous years' trends. While this score may not be sufficient to secure top-demand branches like Computer Science Engineering (CSE), CSE-AI, or Information Technology (IT) at the Manipal main campus in the initial counselling rounds, you may still have a chance to get branches like Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering in the later rounds. However, you have a much better chance of securing CSE, IT, or Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Manipal’s Bengaluru campus or even at the Sikkim campus, which generally have lower closing ranks. It's advisable to keep your preferences flexible and participate in all rounds of counselling, including the sliding and spot rounds. Additionally, you may also explore internal branch sliding after the first year if your academic performance is strong.

Best of Luck

150 marks met and board exam...471 can I get csc course in manihpal main campus

Nikita shahi 25th Aug, 2025

Hi,

Thanks for reaching out!

With 150 marks in MET, the chances for CSE in the main (Manipal) campus are very low, since cutoff for CSE usually goes above 200+ marks. But you may get branches like ECE, Mechanical, Chemical, IT, or maybe CSE in Jaipur/Sikkim campus. If you’re fixed on CSE, Jaipur campus is easier at that score.

Thank you!

I got 122/240 in MET Is there any chance of getting mechanical stream in MET

Nikita shahi 27th Jul, 2025

Hi,

With a score of 122 out of 240 in MET , you do stand a moderate chance of getting into the Mechanical Engineering stream, depending on the year’s cut-offs and the round of counselling. In recent years, the cut-off for Mechanical Engineering has typically hovered between 100–135, though it varies based on the number of applicants and seat availability.

Since your score is quite close to the average cut-off range, you might get Mechanical Engineering in later rounds or at the Manipal Jaipur or Sikkim campuses, if not the main Manipal campus initially. Make sure you participate in all rounds of counselling and keep your options flexible.

Which rank Can I expect in MET with inter board 98.6% and MET score 91

Nikita shahi 10th Aug, 2025

Hello!

Congratulations on scoring 98.6% in your board exams that’s really impressive! Now, about the MET exam rank with a score of 91, it can vary depending on the year’s competition and total candidates. Generally, a MET score of 91 along with such a high board percentage puts you in a strong position. MET ranks are calculated based on a combination of your entrance test marks and board exam scores, so your excellent 98.6% will definitely boost your rank. You can expect to be within the top few thousands or maybe even better, which can get you good chances in reputed engineering or management colleges affiliated with MET. However, exact ranks fluctuate yearly, so keep an eye on the official MET counselling updates.

I hope this helps Good luck

i got 69 marks in met exam and 96.8 percent in board exams how much rank will i get and will i get robotics in cse

Nikita shahi 25th Aug, 2025

Hello aspirant,

At 69 marks in MET, your rank will be quite high (likely 30,000+). Even with strong board marks, Manipal admissions mainly consider MET score, so chances for Robotics or CSE in the main campus are almost nil. You may only get some non-core branches or have to try for other campuses (Jaipur/Sikkim). For Robotics/CSE, you’ll need a much higher MET score.

All the best!

if I score 205 in met exam for allied health , do I still have a chance to get into bsc cvt in manipal?

Tanisha chaudhary 14th May, 2025

HEY THERE!!

With a MET score of 205 for Allied Health and looking to join B.Sc. Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) at Manipal, your admission chances are extremely low as per past trends.

  • In 2023 and 2024, the last round closing rank for B.Sc. CVT was approximately  593–625.
  • Generally, a higher MET score is required to achieve a rank in this range. For instance, a MET score of 145 generally puts a candidate in the rank 1,000–1,100 range, and the CVT cutoff is significantly higher (ranked in the first 600).
  • The B.Sc. CVT cutoff rank is also highly competitive because of the limited number of seats available and high demand.

In conclusion:

Since your score is 205, it is highly unlikely that you will get a seat in B.Sc. CVT in Manipal through the general counselling rounds. You can try other allied health courses with lower cutoffs or private/management quota seats if they are available. Always refer to the official counselling announcements for any modifications in cutoff trends.

i got 61 in met, mit bangalore any chance?

SHUBHANGI SINHA 15th Aug, 2025

Hello,

It is doubtful that someone with MET score of 61 will accepted into one of the MIT Mahipal's extremely competitive departments,  such as Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology. Nonetheless, there may be a chance for automotive or civil engineering.

marks of 90 in MET,what are probably chances of getting seat

Swayam 14th May, 2025

If you had a score of 90 on the MET 2025, you would likely be in the 2,700–3,700 percentile.  It could be challenging to get into MIT Manipal's top branches, such computer science or information technology, but this rank gives disciplines with higher closing ranks, like civil, chemical, or biotechnology, a decent opportunity.
