Based on your rank you will be called either for the first or second round of counselling. If you get a chance to go in first,  then surely you can get the branch with specialisation of your choice. But, if you are called in the second round, Your admission in CSE branch depends upon the seats left . Nevertheless, you can go for the other branches too .So hope for the best.

Based on past year trends, MCA course at VIT, Vellore closes at 500-600 rank. So you may try for other campuses of VIT.

Based on the past record,you do have a fair chance to get into mtech biomed branch but as you see ,the trebd does change every time and year.

Congratulation for your good rank in M Tech Mechnical Engineering conducted by VIT...

Last year closing rank cutoff of VIT Vellore Institute of technology was 19000 rank...

You can easily get the seat in mechanical field in VIT ...and you can try in any other colleges also..
