Yes you can appear for both....In fact, their syllabus is also very similar so preparation will be easier too

IIEST does not takes admission through WBJEE but its takes admission through JEE mains.

Its full form is  Indian Institutes of Engineering Science and Technology.

So,it wont come under WBJEE.

well its not much problem during exam , the examination people will just see your admit card does not verify it during the examination but during the admission time you may find bit problem but to stay in safer side kindly inform the college before you get but
