Both colleges have good rankings and quality of education is also good but still Gurukul Kangri Vishwavidyalaya have slight upper hand than the other one as it has better ranking with lower Jee Mains cutoff and also it is UGC approved NAAC grade A College which itself means a lot. Placements of CMR Technical Campus are quite well. There are many companies which come to this college for placements nearly 65% placed, the lowest salary is 2 Lacs per annum, and the highest may be 8 Lacs, companies like Amazon, paytm, SAP, etc. ,70% students got internship,18k to 20k, starting is 5k. The chance of getting placed is high if your suitable and done well in interview. This college is best for computer Science engineering.

The placement percentage of ECE department is around 80% to 85%. The highest salary package offered was 39 LPA, and the average salary package offered was around 8 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is being around 5 LPA. Everyone has an excellent chance of getting good jobs, and if you are above average, you might get your dream job.

you also could join robolution which will definitely give you an edge. Qualcomm took 4–5 students for 15 lakhs .

Electronics at BIT Mesra is tough .As professors are too strict . Subjects are too tough.

Congratulations to your friend for securing such great colleges. so if you want to compare the colleges then NIT Calicut will be a better option than BITS goa, because of following reasons:

1. NIT Calicut is a government college and BITS Goa is a private college and the value for Government college is much more than a private college.

2. BITS Goa cannot be considered a good college because of its newer campus the placement records are not upto the mark. Where as NIT has a great placement record.

Caterpillar, Coromandel Fertilisers Limited, IBM, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL) , Mahindra & Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, VOLTAS, Ashok Leyland, Essar group, General Motors, HPCL, JK Tyre, Larsen & Toubro Ltd., Morgan Stanley, TATA Technologies, Technologies Robert, Bosch Engineering & Business Solutions Ltd. 

Some of the placements highlights for mechanical branch were: 

Caterpillar (11 LPA)

Ford (6 LPA) 

With this, one can I expect an average placement package of 6 to 7 LPA with the highest being nothing less than 30 LPA. 

Dear both colleges are private and have almost similar environment.Both will provide you opportunities to grow as an engineer.Vardhman college is slightly better in some aspects like infrastructure,placements etc. and it is also NAAc accredited.Also the branch should be taken only as per the interest.Only then you can learn something in college.Otherwise both college are good on their level.

The faculty of college is awesome with ultra modern facilities and the educomp and moreover the computer lavs and wirshops of each type of engeering like electrical mechanical and all the students  are enjoying the environment awesome.

The overall atmosphere in college is very good, encouraging, motivating and impressive learning. It offers a clear sky to good learns and provides a safe atmosphere around. One can learn fearlessly beyond limits.

Placements:

The placements in the college are good but best for computer science engineering. The job opportunities are provided via job fairs sometimes held in college itself where students apply as per their will.
