SRM University, Chennai campus doesn’t accepts the admission based on the only IPE marks. You need to write SRMJEEE to get Admission. You can even get admission through your JEE mains rank, else you can go through management quota to get admission. Yes, The scholarship is provided to students based on IPE marks. If you are a district or State topper of Tamil nadu then you’ll get 100% fee scholarship. But if you get 90% equal or above then you’ll get scholarship but is decided by the management committee at the time of admission. SRM university, Chennai campus is 100% better than IIPE, Vishakhapatnam because, the faculty are experienced at the Chennai campus of SRM University. Most of them are the Ph.D holders. The facility, Infrastructure is also great at the vizag campus. The labs are 100% fully equipped. The chennai campus is full green campus with the great environment. The chennai campus is Rated as AAAA by Careers360. It is accredited with NAAC A++ grade, ranked at 36th by NIRF MHRD Government Of India For Engineering. They both have almost the same ranking, and they both are decent colleges so no problems there, but you should try for even better colleges. From my knowledge, PESCE is the older institute and better recognised, so you should go for that, given the choice. PES is autonomous, so the general quality of the college is also nice. You can get Computer Science And Engineering  till 54,000 at Srm University, Ghaziabad NCR campus. It is not that good when compared with Chennai campus and even Ramapuram Campus. The hostel fee is also too expensive. It is not that good. The hostel fee is around 1.5 lakhs per year. The top companies that visit this university are:Jonhson controls, Amazon, Hitachi Consulting, Unisys, SAP labs, cisco, temenos, Infosys, Wipro, CTS, TCS, NSE, 2adpro, Honeywell, E and Y, Sahaj software, Chalk street, System insight, Nation star, Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley.
