IIIT Ranchi,do not have its own campus yet and thus students are residing at NIT Jamshedpur where they are offered with all the basic facilities.

All the new IIITs are in improving stage.

Placement,we can't comment yet as only one batch has passed as of now, curriculum is good.

Both IIIT Allahabad and NIT Durgapur have their own advantages.

• The total fees of CS at NIT Durgapur is 5.56 lacs and that at IIIT Allahabad is 5.4 lacs. So there is not much difference in fees.
• There are more placement opportunities at IIIT Allahabad as compared to NIT Durgapur as more companies visit the former.
• Even at the cultural front, IIIT has more fests planned than NIT Durgapur. So you can really enjoy more at IIIT Allahabad.
• However, NIT Durgapur has the tag of NIT which is advantageous in itself.
