Sir I am currently studying 1st year of b tech can I able to write gate exam in 2021? If possible can you guide what topics to prepare ?

Prabhavati Dhavala 21st Nov, 2018

See, you will be able to appear for GATE if you are in your final year in 2021. If you are in your third year, I am afraid no. You mention, you are in your first year, so I presume you will complete your graduation in 2022. In such a case "NO" as GATE is for final year students or the ones who have completed their graduation. However preparation can start from now on as it encompasses the syllabus of B.Tech.

Start by checking the GATE syllabus for the ME paper, prepare for topics along with your B.Tech. Check out the previous year papers and mock tests to get a better idea.
