I think the preparation is pretty much the same..its the same textual matter..
Ya maybe the contextual way of asking wuestions and pattern may be different..
So i would say 4-6 hours a day of study should do..
And try solving papers of both exams.. timed mock exam helps a

You should make time table according to your comfort. Try to complete your syllabus and focus on the important topics. Make sure you build your basics strong. So, that you can easily solve tricky questions. Go through NCERT books.
