A minimum of 60 questions is must for attempt and making atleast 40 correct answers is the key to 99 percentile as per CAT 2012 scorecard analysis. Your total score should be 300+ arohnd for aiming the 99 percentile. However, this varies as the percentile is derived from normalization process

You would require 8-10 months for consideration and preparing well enough. Join a coaching class like TIME, CpLC, Catking, Careerlauncher. You should devote 4 months for full preparation and solve weekly mock exams. After that devoting 1month for mock tests for each section, and then 1month for all sections together.
