Sorry to say but with this score you can't get any government universities. Only you can try for private universities. Even top private universities are will not come with this score.You can get some private universities like iem,uem,techno group etc.Best of luck .

Placements at UIET Chandigarh for CSE branch are better than other branches in UIET.

Placements are not an issue there if you perform well in academics and selection process. Getting a job with 3-5 LPA is not a big deal. But getting a job with 7-9 LPA is

• Candidates must have domiciled of West Bengal.
• You should have got 60% (45% for reserved category =in aggregate of physics, chemistry & math's.

Since the last year cutoff was 475 and you have 420 as gate score, you have less chance of getting seat. There is a large diffrence between the scores , the cutoff won't lowered by that much. 

But you should have hope so apply for it. May luck favours
