I have completed my UG in B.Tech, Genetic Engineering. I would like to pursue further studies and a career in medicine.

Shikhar 30th Jul, 2019

Hello,

Yes if you have completed your B.Tech that is you completed your graduation so if you want to go for higher studies and want to appear in NEET but i think you should remember the qualifications for appearing in the NEET exam.

There is no maximum age limit till the supreme court passes any judgement on it and there are also no restrictions on the no of attempts in NEET.

So if you have that interest then you can go further, but i think if you have completed your B.Tech you can go for a job(if available) or if not then you can definetly go for higher studies, but don't drop an year if you fail to qualify neet in your first attempt.

ThankYou!

Yes you are very much available!

Regards!

Hello Shruti,

As per the eligibility to apply for NEET Entrance Exam, You should have minimum PCB score 50% as General Category and 40% as a reserved category to apply for NEET Entrance Exam.

Firstly I would suggest you to prepare with NCERT books as it will help you to clear your basic concept. If Exam startergy is planned & followed by you properly then it is easy to score good marks in the Exam.

Here are some of the preparation tips, You can follow for the Exam preparation

Work on a Time Table: After carefully checking the syllabus of the exam towards creating a perfect timetable which will fit your schedule while leaving enough time to prepare for the examination within the days left.

Devide & Segregate the Exam Syllabus: The topics from the Exam syllabus must be divided into easy, tough and very tough so that preparation of the exam is made accordingly.

Make your Basic Concepts Strong: While it is essential to study the topics mentioned in the official syllabus, it is also advised to study the basic concepts well first. By knowing the basic concepts of the units involved in the examination, you will be able to understand each topics well and in depth. This will result in a greater understanding of the topics and will make it simpler for you to study complicated concepts present in the syllabus.

Improve your Weak Points: Stressed over some topics or formulas which you just cannot seem to understand? Give more time and focus on these topics to improve it. Keep small notes and constantly revise those concepts which has been hard to understand. By constantly studying the topics you find difficult.

Attempt Mock Test and Solve Sample Papers: Mock tests will give you an almost real experience of how the examination will be. By solving mock tests, you will be able to work on time management while at the same time understanding the question paper pattern.

My score in chemistry is 48. But, Biology, physics, English all above 70, under SC category. am I eligible for AIIMS. Please answer me.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 27th Jul, 2019
Dear Pradeep, for a Candidate belonging to SC Category, the aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English should be 50%. Considering the fact that you scored 48 in Chemistry and assuming you scored only 70 in the rest 3 subjects, you are comfortably placed with an aggregate required for your Category. So you qualify to appear in AIIMS.

Dear Aspirant,

Congratulations for cracking the NEET examination.

You mentioned that you have scored 285 in this competitive examination. Now you are looking for a seat in a government Homeopathic college.

But sorry to say that your chance of getting a seat in a government homeHomeopa College is negligible.

But you can opt for private Medical Colleges.
