I have passed ISC exam but failed in maths. So am I eligible to go for BSc chemistry

Ramsha_1482736792 Student Expert 19th Jul, 2019
Eligibilityfor Bachelor of Science [BSc]

Candidates must obtain 50%-60% aggregate marks in 10+2 examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects. Usually, the universities require only the best 4 subject marks to be included in the 50%-60%criteria, but mathematics must be one of those subjects.
In bsc you will not study only chemistry nor admissions are done on the basis of one subject.
This also depends on the college.
All the best.

Is the admission process still going on?...what is the eligibility criteria for admission in diploma in interior designing?

Deepika Student Expert 19th Jul, 2019

dear aspirant,

the eligibility for interior designing are as follows:

  • Admissions for the diploma in interior design being offered across India by specialist institutes and universities are usually done on the basis of merit, i.e., the marks that candidates have secured in their class 12 board examinations or equivalent.
  • In addition, the admission process to the diploma in interior design also usually has a qualifying exam or entrance exam which interested candidates will need to pass or clear.
  • Colleges or institutes offering qualification for interior designing course usually require aspirants to have secured a minimum of 50% marks at the class 12 level in order to be given admission to the course.
  • This percentage of marks is usually lowered for reserved category candidates.

the admission process for goverment institutions and universities would have ceased by now you might try in private institutes.

hope it helped.

Hello Sujay. The cut off for geology bsc in ravenshaw university in the year 2017 was around 83.2%. The cut off usually swings around 83% - 87% as less number of seats are available for the course compared to other courses in bsc. And also geology is offered by many few colleges in odisha. Good luck with your admission.
