I did Mathematics(H) from University of Delhi. Am I eligible to sit in entrance exams for MA Economics from ISI, IGIDR, JNU, MSE?

athira_1490858591 Student Expert 24th Aug, 2019

Hi Saksham,

You are eligible to apply for M.A. Economics in all these reputed institutions. This is because many Maths people switch to Economics at the postgraduate level due to more Interest/scope in that line. Economics is pretty much linked with Mathematics. However, you need to prepare well for the entrances as you'd be at a weaker spot due to non-economics background. Remain updated with the syllabus and prepare accordingly by much practice.

All the best!

Myou polytechnic rank 113071 hai kya mera admission ho jayega

shwetasaini505_9233227 Student Expert 20th Jul, 2019

Hello Shubham,

Polytechnic has several exams and you seem to have forgotten to mention the Polytechnic exam that you got this rank in.

However just to give you a rough idea, with a rank of 113071 you will not be able to get admission in government polytechnic colleges.

Although, you will have chances of getting admission if you belong to the SC/ST/OBC-NCL category.

Hope this helps.

Shivangi Student Expert 13th Jul, 2019

Dear Aspirant

For SC category, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40% marks for being eligible for appearing for NEET.

Your marks in PCB and 50% seems to be doubtful and confusing. Kindly provide us your practical + theory marks of all the subjects (your 12th board name too) for accurate and correct answer.

Hope this helps you.

The eligibility criteria to give JEE advanced says that the candidate should have secure atleast 75% marks in 12th class and should have qualified JEE mains exam. If you satisfy the above criteria then you will be eligible to sit for JEE advanced.

And if you have completed your diploma from AICTE then only you are eligible to sit for the exam. which if you complete by 2020 then you can go for JEE mains and advanced.

Thank You
