There are no chance at chennai and vellore campus. However you can try at bhopal and AP campus as they are new campuses and it can be assumed that you will get some good branch if not your preferred branches.

All the ALL India level exams like  that of IITs and NIFT,NEET,they allow for counselling once the candidate has  cleared the compartment exam .I think once your daughter gets that exam cleared she would be eligible for the counselling process.for more details and doubts ,you may contact the VIT university

for general/obc candidates you must have 60% aggregate marks in physics, chemistry, biology, and English and for sc/st/oph 50% is the criteria. which means total aggregate in these 4 subjects must be 60% no separate cutoff total percentage of these 4 subjects must greater than 60%.

the minimum mark kept as eligibility creteria is % for ipu cet law exam. even though reservation is their for st category students for writing exams they need 50% mark. if you have luck it may change in the next year but chances are on the lower side.
