What is the OPGL mean in UPSEE 2019?

Ns Student Expert 5th Jul, 2019

Hii aspirant ..

In upsee opgl means the category of girls in general category. So, if your opgl category is 723 then your rank in general category girls is 723.

The process of counselling takes place through general rank not category rank in upsee exams.

So, if cutoff rank is 1460 then if you want to get selected then your your general rank should be 1460 to get selected in UPSEE exams.

The process of counselling solely depends on general category rank not on any particular category rank.

Hope it helps.

Best of luck for your future.

Eligibility criteria of comedk ? Can we take technical vocational subject instead of chemistry in pcm?

tanmoymunshi1999_9606691 Student Expert 5th Jul, 2019

hey aryan,

The eligibility criteria to appear in COMEDK is the aspirants should qualify the above examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST and OBC category of Karnataka) in PCM subjects. Pass these subjects individually. Aspirants, please note down that you must have Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with an optional subject as Chemistry or Bio-Technology or Biology or any other technical vocational courses. An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list.

You have to appear PCM and also need to pass individually in the exam. And after you get admission in any of the college you will have a subject called Technical Skills or also known as HU Lab. Here you will develop your communication skills and technical knowledge. So you have both PCM and Technical vocational subject

hope that helps

iammohdshareef 20th Jul, 2019

Hello sir,

You have scored good but not enough to get admission without paid counseling or merit list.

There's a way you can try if you want admission that is Paid counseling.

If you are looking for main campus of any university then it's bit difficult to get it,but you can get admission in other campuses of universities. You even have private institute which can provide you admission.

Best of luck

Ankita Behera 5th Jul, 2019

Hi,

D pharmacy is a diploma course which is done after 12th.

So with just D pharmacy you cannot be eligible for neet PG.

With just D pharmacy you can start a medical store or work under the supervision of a senior licensed pharmacist.

And pharmaD is a doctorate course of 6years.

It's a 6 years course , 4 years of college, +1 year project and clerkship in hospital + 1 year internship.

After pharmaD however you can work as a clinical pharmacist, drug safety associate etc.

Theres scope in IT sector.

Hope it helps
