Question : Read the passage and answer the following questions.
Cricket World Cup is held once every four years by International Cricket Council (ICC) at different venues of the world. Like other World Cup tournaments, ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 was also organized with great pomp and show in New Zealand and Australia from 14th February 2015 to 29th March 2015. This happened to be the second time when a Cricket World Cup tournament was organized in Australia and New Zealand. The first tournament was held in the year 1992. Fourteen different cricket playing nations participated in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. All these participating teams were divided into two groups - Pool A and Pool B. Australia, England, Bangladesh, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Scotland and Afghanistan were in Pool A. India, South Africa, Pakistan, Zimbabwe, United Arab Emirates, West Indies and Ireland were in Pool B. Team India was the defending champion, having bagged the award in the year 2011. The host teams - New Zealand and Australia made it to the final match, with Australia winning the World Cup final by 7 wickets to grab the ICC World Cup title for the fifth time. James Faulkner and Mitchell Starc of Australia were awarded the 'Man of the Match' and 'Man of the Series' awards, respectively. Many old records were broken and new records were made by teams and individual players in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Two double tons were scored by Martin Guptill of New Zealand (237) and Chris Gayle of West Indies (215) in this tournament. In fact, Chris Gayle's century was the first-ever double century in any World Cup match. Glenn Maxwell scored the second-fastest century in the World Cup off just 51 balls. After defeating South Africa in the semi-final match, New Zealand became the first team to successfully chase-run in a Cricket World Cup knockout match. Many other such feats were achieved in the Cricket World Cup 2015 .
Even team India managed to create a mark in this World Cup tournament. After beating Bangladesh in the quarterfinals, Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni became the first Indian captain and first non-Australian captain to record 100 One-Day International (ODI) wins as a captain. Further, in this tournament Team India managed to bowl out the opponents for seven consecutive times. The fact that Team India failed to win the ICC World Cup title for the third time, was quite heartbreaking for the Indian fans. However, Team India managed to crush Pakistan for the 6 th time in a row in the World Cup tournaments. This was a huge satisfaction for the Indian cricket fans in ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. For them, this win was equivalent to winning the World Cup title itself.

Option 3: $\frac{9}{25}$
Option 4: $-\frac{9}{25}$
Correct Answer: $-\frac{9}{50}$
Solution : Given: $\sin t+\cos t=\frac{4}{5}$ Squaring both sides, we have, ⇒ $(\sin t+\cos t)^{2}=(\frac{4}{5})^{2}$ ⇒ $\sin^{2} t+\cos^{2} t+2\sin t.\cos t=\frac{16}{25}$ We know that $\sin^{2} t+\cos^{2}=1$ ⇒ $1+2\sin t.\cos t=\frac{16}{25}$ ⇒ $2\sin t.\cos t=\frac{16}{25}–1$ ⇒ $2\sin t.\cos t=-\frac{9}{25}$ ⇒ $\sin t.\cos t=-\frac{9}{50}$ Hence, the correct answer is
