To secure an admission to govt. medical college, your rank should be under 8000 through all india 15% quota and below 10000 for 85%state quota.The cutoff rank for 85% state quota may vary from state to state.Seeing this year's cutoffs i would say from now onwards above 600 marks would

Congratulations on getting a seat in Chengallpattu Medical College.

The chances are very less for upgradation due to increase in competition. You may get Omandurar Medical College.

Getting Kilpauk Medical College is almost next to possible in second round .

The merit list of the NEET exam always gets highr by certain amount of the percentage. All india quota seats are for the govt. medical and dental colleges and the merit rank is higher in this quota. Now based on your marks it is difficult to get into the govt.
