Hello,
You should definitely go for second round, as with 12k rank you have pretty high chances of getting these colleges through state quota:

Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital, Gaya
Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sheikhpura, Patna
Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Bhagalpur

Hello,
As you mentioned with 480 marks, your chances of getting a decent government college in your state through state quota(85%) are negligible as previous year cutoff was 476 but it will surely go up by 30-40 marks this year.

As you mentioned with SC category and 345 marks, your chances of getting a decent government college in your state through state quota(85%) are pretty less.
However you might get some good private medical college in your state through state quota.

Hello Tejasri,

Since you didn't mention your category I have considered that you belong to UR category .So at 500 marks you have very low chances of getting a seat in a government college for MBBS .Though you would surely get a seat in BDS or the private medical colleges
