I am studying frst year bds in tamilnadu...next year i am going to write neet ..i have one doubt ..

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 24th Aug, 2019
Dear Ijaz, you haven't mentioned whether you are studying in a Government Dental College or a Private Dental College. Lets say while you are attending Private Dental College, you appear for NEET and crack and get a seat in Government Medical College. Now because it is a Private College, you will have to shell out the entire xourse fees to get your documents and TC because the College is forgoing a potential candidate for the entire duration of the course. And this amount can be bargained with the Administration. This is the biggest economical loss you might have to bear. Now you crack NEET and secure a seat in any GMC, you have to pay the fees again how nominal it might be. Considering the fact you are asking this question already studying BDS and even if you are in the 1st year and you crack NEET next year, you will be technically 2nd year BDS student. If my Math is wrong, you might still be in 2nd year. So you will forgo 2 years and then pay fees for another 3 years upfront and then join GMC for nominal fees. I do not have an idea of your tution fees but it will dent a hole in the pocket. All said and done, if you get a seat in GMC, you can still go for it. The economic factor is just an answer because you have asked for it.

I want to go to canada after 12th should i have to give neet for that

Ankur Dubey Student Expert 24th Aug, 2019
Hello

yes. Before May 2018, NEET is not must to study medicine in abroad. But now it is must. I thought that this happened because of screening test pass percentage and other criteria, MCI (Medical Council of India) decided that NEET (entrance exam) is also must for students who go to study medicine in abroad. This rule will be applicable to students who go to study medicine in abroad after June 1,2018. Once you decide to go abroad for your medical education, first you must clear the NEET exam which is conducted in India. Then only you can eligible to apply further. If you are not clear the exam and complete your medical education in abroad, you will not allow to sit for a screening exam and also you will not allow to practice in India.

I hope it will help you
Good luck...

As you are from ap state, so to apply for counseling you need to have domicile of your state. According to your marks and your category, you have reservations of your sc caste. So, definitely you have a chance to get a bhms seat in ap medical college as you have even reservation of your caste.

You can chevk out your preffered college in its official site and chck out the cut off of the college in ap state.
