I have scored 454 marks in neet 2019 and i m eligible for paramilitary quota. Can i get seat in mbbs in mop up round of counselling

iammohdshareef 22nd Aug, 2019
Hello,
.
I don't think NEET has paramilitary quota.
Even if it has it isn't useful for NEET.
NEET is for doing medicine jot to do army or join police.
So,i don't think you will be need of paramilitary quota in neet.
.
And when coming to chances of getting seat in Mop-up round.
You have chances of getting a seat.
I'm not understanding why you haven't got seat in counselings.
.
By the way try in mop up round. You have chances of getting a seat.
.
Let's hope for the best.
Best of luck

I have 128 marks in NEET and applied for BVSC Regional round (Shirwal) I have not got in first round-?What are my chances in second round?

Diksha gupta 23rd Aug, 2019

Hi,

At this score chances are very low, but as you have already applied in counseling keep on trying, you will get an experience. Usually in order to get admissions in bvsc course , a score above 360 or so is required for general category students.

I would highly suggest you to mention your rank and category so that we can help you out better.

You should look for other courses you might be interested in. Otherwise give yourself one more year and grab you seat. You can register for CTSE exam conducted by careers360 where you can get upto 100% scholarship and other rewards.

All the best.

I didnt clear neet but I am going to study MBBS in abroad . Is there any chance to come to practice in India after my MBBS degree

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 22nd Aug, 2019
First things first, now even to study MBBS abroad, Candidates need to qualify in NEET. So if you havent cleared NEET in 2019, you may have to reappear for NEET in 2020. Now lets say you qualify for NEET in 2020, MBBS abroad takes close to 6 years depending upon the country you choose. As of now, the Health Ministry has decided on scrapping of FMGE in favour of NEXT exam as a part of NMC Bill. But this will take another 3 years. By then you will complete your MBBS and things might take a shape. You can always come back and practise in India. Either FMGE or NEXT, you can come back and practise in India.

Hello Vinothini,

The instructions mentioned in there website for this tyoe of case is mentioned below:

In case, the candidates are unable to attend the counselling on the scheduled timing due to unavoidable reasons, they can check the following conditions:

Candidates can authorise their parent on their behalf. In this case decision of the parents will be considered as the final one. The call letter needs to be submitted by the parents at the time of counselling. Along with this parents will have to produce a photo identity of any one among these- voter Id, driving license, PAN card or passport.

Ujjwal Negi Student Expert 23rd Aug, 2019

Hi Varun,

I need you to elaborate the situation here because to the extent of my knowledge all they provide is the rank card and if provisional certificate is not been provided and it is part of the prerequisites then it would be something related to your Bachelor's degree.

Good Luck !!

If I am giving neet from OBC category will I get admission in Delhi medical college if I get required marks to get in?

harshitasharansrivastava Student Expert 22nd Aug, 2019
Hello aspirant,.

When looking at the past year data of NEET what we can conclude is that, marks do not matter anymore, rather candidate rank in NEET will be deciding factor in getting admission in medical college/university. My advice for you will be that you should not aim for cut-off marks rather you should set your mind to give your best and get higher rank in the exam that will increase your chance of getting admission.
Also as per previous year data, to be on safer side I'll suggest you to aim for 600+ marks in neet. The closing rank for obc candidates is around 5000. So you must work hard..
