I left the up mop up round of neet 2019. When i get back my security money?

Shreyash Kumar 19th Aug, 2019

Hello,

You will get your security fee back only after the whole counselling process back into your account, that is, if you have not been allocated any seat in any round whatsoever.

If you have taken admission in any institution and wish to go to another one, then the fee will be adjusted against the first year annual fee of the institution you end up in.

All the Best!

Which college is preferable for medical course private or government, which college

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 19th Aug, 2019
Hello,

There is a lot of difference in pursuing MBBS from private and from Government Medical College as in private college you have to pay 60-70 lakhs for full course while for government colleges you have to only pay 2-3 lakhs for full course.
Admission in government college is purely based on entrance exams while in private colleges there is a management quota seats which allow rich people to get seat by paying extra money.
In government colleges you will see various patients with different diseases which will enhance your practical knowledge while in private college you won't get enough exposure.
Faculty of government colleges are experienced as they have to deal with students as well as with patients. So i suggest you should opt government college.

I hope this helps.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Aug, 2019
Dear Praveen,  MCI is being replaced by NMC. However this will take upto 6 months based on the information released by the Health Ministry. There was also news that AIIMS and JIPMER admissions also will be conducted through NEET abd NEET will bw conducted twice every year as a part of NMC Bill. Considering this is August, and 6 months from now is Feb/March 2020,it is unlikely that there any changes that will be affecting AIIMS 2020 and JIPMER 2020 and NEET 2020. Why student with 580 to 630 marks have applied for mop up round in neet-ug uttar pradesh, when they could get the seat easily in 1st round?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 20th Aug, 2019

Hello there!

Greetings!

This year NTA conducted NEET and NEET paper was quite easy when compared to past year papers , so largd number of students got very good marks,  I mean in 2020 number of students who scored 550+ marks increased by many folds , same happened with 600+ marks achiever , so that's why cut off for medical colleges have gone way far this year when compared to usual past year trends and thus now even students who scored good marks have to  apply for mop up round.

Thankyou

Saurav chaurasia 19th Aug, 2019
Dear aspirant, hope you are doing well. Now coming to your question, previously many medical colleges conduct their own entrance exam, but now all these exams have been under a major exam called NEET. Now only 3 examination are been held for PCB students that is AIIMS, JIPMER and Neet.
Hope this will surely help.
