I got 298 marks in neet ug 2019 and I registered in mop up round of up. Can u please tell me that I get the mbbs college or not?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Aug, 2019
You havent mentioned your Category. Neverthless, 298 is too less a score for a seat in MBBS even in Mop up round. Yhis year the cut offs have been too high and Candidates with a score 550 belonging to General Category havent been able to secure seats in Round 1 and Round 2 which means they will be priotirised over your marks in the merit list and seat allotment. A MBBS seat even in a Private Medical and Dental Colleges is difficult with this score. You may have to give it a try in Ayush Courses.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 19th Aug, 2019
Hello there!
Although your bio is good but it is physics which is difficult for medical aspirants and  Yes, if you can afford coaching then you should definitely go for it in Allen etc. Coaching will help you in clearing NEET and AIIMS examinations. Your teachers will not just solve your doubts and problems but will act as guides and mentors throughout your preparation. Also , regular tests etc test series etc will help in your neet preparation.
Thankyou

Dear Abhinav, if ypu fall under MCC guidelines for PWD, you are eligible for appearing under PWD quota. But during the cpunselling, you will have to get yourself assesses at any of the Disability Assessment Centres mentioned in the official website at mcc.nic.in. The certificate you have is for you availing the PWD reservation. The Assessment that you undergo at any of the Disability Assessment Centres is to guage the disability for admission to Medical Colleges. So with the certificate that you hold, you are eligible to appear for NEET 2020 under PWD quota. If you are planning on appearing for NEET, this might help you

Hello sir! I gave neet 2019 State - Bihar Category - OBC and PwD Disability %age - 40% Marks - 502

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Aug, 2019
Dear Sunny, after Round 1, 584 remained the cut off for BC Category for Government Medical Colleges. But it is 486 for Private Medical Colleges. So with a score of 502, you might get a seat in Private Medical College. This is because PWD has no vertical reservation. It is a horizontal reservation within your Category. Last year 519 was the cut off for GMCs in BC Category. So considering all these factirs, you might get a seat in a Private Medical College.

Can a student appear for Neet & get MBBS seat if he has passed 10 th class from Open school.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 19th Aug, 2019
Dear Syed, if you have completed your 10th and are in your 12th, even if you have studied 10th from an Open School, it doesnt matter. What matters is you complete your 10th from a Recognised Institution and complete your 12th with a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as your core subjects. It is 50% for General Category, 45% for PWD and 40% for OBC/SC/ST. You should be 17 years old atleast by December 31st of the year of admission. If you are planning on taking on NEET, this might help you:
