Hello Aspirant!
It is better that you begin with DC Pandey for Mechanics if it is your weak point. Because the concepts are explained in a very easy and lucid manner in DC Pandey, as well as, solution for every question is provided. Once you have formed a grip over Mechanics, you can move on to HC Verma for concepts of higher order. Beginning rightaway with HC Verma isn't a good idea as it consists of very high order thinking skills' questions, which can badly confuse a student who is already weak in Mechanics.

i want to get addmission in Aligarh muslim university for class 11th ( commerce ) . so my question is, university will give me a paper in which topic were written for entrance exam????

Hello Aspirant,

There are two examinations for the Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) 11th entrance examination. One is for Class XI Science stream and the other one is for Class XI Humanities and Commerce stream.

Syllabus for the Science stream will be

1. Science (Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences) – 50 marks

2. Mathematics – 30 marks

3. General Knowledge and Indo – Islamic Culture – 20 Marks

The admission test will be based on the qualifying examination which is presently almost similar to the CBSE / NCERT syllabus of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Life Sciences.

Syllabus for the Humanities / Commerce will be

1. Social Studies (Civics, Economics, History and Geography)

2. Mathematics

3. General Knowledge

4. Indo – Islamic Culture

The entrance will be held in three languages (English, Hindi and Urdu).

Hello,
As far as i am concerened Practising through the bhu pet sample paper 2020 would do more than enough to help you get through the exam . Put in some efforts to solve the previous year papers as well. By doing so you will get acquainted with the structure and the marking scheme of the question paper. these are easily avilable on the bhu official website. Know that you need to prioritise certain topics and subjects which need more focus. Going through the BHU PET previous year papers would give a good idea about the exam pattern.
Lastdateto apply online for the exam is March 16, 2019
Bhu pet2019exam date - May 14 to May 24, 2019

For bhu social science exam I'll suggest you to follow Arihant bhu ba social science entrance exam,because it covers all the topics required for the syllabus of exam with brief description and practice exercises will also be provided and.. That also consisted previous year question paper, so that you can get to know the pattern of the exam and weightage of topics. Some people may suggest lucent's GK book ,it's also good you can for what you prefer for! All the best for the exam!!

The above mentioned books are very good for the preparation. Most of the students prefers those books These are sufficient for your AIIMS preparation. One thing keep in mind that reading too much of book will not help you but reading a few book thoroughly will definitely help you so be sure first that you complete NCERT and your coaching materials first in case of coaching.

Hey there

CAT is an exam which one can take after graduation so it is good to see that you are interested in it since from now. For CAT you have plenty of time right now so in current situation you can do best in 12th because 12th percentage matters a lot for a call from iims. Also you can start preparing for aptitude and English from right now.
