Rank
Hello,
With AIR 25070 and score 499 in NEET PG 2025 under EWS, it is not possible to get MS General Surgery or Orthopaedics in any government college through AIQ.
These branches usually close at much higher ranks (within 12k–15k for General Surgery and even earlier for Orthopaedics).
Your chances in AIQ government quota for these subjects are very slim. You may try in state quota counselling where cut-offs go higher.
Hope it helps !
Hey! With an AIR of 25070 and a score of 499 in NEET PG 2025 under EWS category, getting a core clinical branch like General Medicine, Surgery, Ortho, Pediatrics, or OBG in a government college through AIQ will be very tough because cut-offs for these subjects are usually much higher.
But you still have a chance in para-clinical branches (like Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic, etc.) and in some states during state counselling you may get less demanded clinical branches such as Anesthesia, Radiotherapy or Psychiatry depending on seat availability.
I’ll suggest you keep an eye on both AIQ and State Quota counselling, and also consider DNB seats, since they usually go lower in rank compared to MD/MS in government colleges.
Hey Ritika! With 5882 rank, getting into KLS Gogte is a bit tough because last year the cutoff was around 5900 for some branches. You are right on the edge, so chances are less but not impossible.
My suggestion: attend all rounds of counselling, because sometimes seats open up in later rounds. Also, keep other branches as backup options, that will increase your chances of admission.
Hello dear student,
your rank 5882 is much higher than cutoff ranks of PGCET to get admission to a postgraduate course at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology, Belagavi. unfortunately that puts you well out of range for both MCA and MBA Admissions under general category.
Hello Aspirant,
Your PGCET Rank is 5882 and depending on the branch you are looking for at KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (Belagavi) there is a possibility of getting admission. For the branches like CSE, ECE and AIML in high demand branches overall, the cut off is usually lower. Instead for branches like Mechanical, Civil and some of the newer branches, you will likely get admission either in the last rounds or might have a chance in spot counseling. KLS Gogte college
Hello Ritika
With 5882 rank in PGCET, your chances of getting admission in KLS Gogte institute of Technology for most branches will be difficult but not impossible as for the lower demand branches, the cutoff has gone up to around 6000 so you will come under that range and you will get a less demanded branch.

Hello Manish
With 2,00,000 rank in NEET UG, even with a NCC C Certificate, it is very unlikely to get an MBBS seat in a Government Medical College (GMC) in India.
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) C Certificate does provide reservation and quota benefit in some states but the number of seats are extremely limited and usually gets filled under 70,000 rank.
Thank You!!!
Hey ya ,
The cutoff rank of neet pg for MD psychiatry in GMC Goa are as follows -
For general category it ranges around 5931 rank in round one . In round 2nd it is around 5969 and for the detailed and appropriate cutoff detail you can visit there website or can contact to them directly thankyou .
Hey! With a GMR rank of 22,259 and SC rank of 1996 in WBJEE 2025, getting Jadavpur University for BE is quite difficult, especially for CSE, IT, or ECE, since cutoffs for these branches are very high even under SC quota. However, you might have some chances in lower cutoff branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Production Engineering, depending on the 2025 cutoff trends. I’d suggest you keep Jadavpur as an option but also fill choices for other government colleges like Kalyani Government Engineering College, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, and HIT Kolkata, as your chances are better there.
