Tajing a year's drop and still being away from tge admission even from small margin is really not worthy. And  having a  option of opting for other courses then it's like a ray of hope.

It is difficult for you to get NITs and you should apply in private colleges as well. The seats get filled really soon in good colleges and you shouldn't concentrate only on NITs. You may get another government college or a private college with your branch of choice.

See GMR rank is general rank for all the courses that come under WBJEE like B.Arch, B.Tech and B.Pharm etc. While PMR rank is a seperate rank list according to which B.Pharm seats are alloted to the aspirants. Your question is not completely clear, what i can understand
