I completed my class 11th in the year 2022-23 and enrolled in class 12th in 2023-24 but then I got diagnosed with mdr tb due to which i was absent in all my class 12th boards and practicals in the year 2023-24, my admit card got generated but I was absent in all boards and practicals and in cbse website when i saw my result it was marked absent in every practical and paper, now Im appearing as a regular candidate in the year 2024-25, will I be eligible for jee advance 2025 and 2026 as in jee advance attempts counts from first appearance in class 12 irrespective of whether paper was conducted and if board and declared the result of that year. Will they consider my 2023-24 absent year as an attempt, as I have not even registered for jee mains that year, or will they consider 2024-25 as my first attempt, will I be eligible for jee advanced 2025 and 2026?

Prachi Kumari 29th Dec, 2024

Hello Shanvi,

Based on the current rules and your situation:

  1. JEE Attempt Count: The JEE Advanced attempt count is based on the year in which you first appeared for the Class 12 exams. Since you were absent in 2023-24 and didn't appear for any exams, this year will not be counted as an attempt.

  2. 2024-25 as First Attempt: Since you are appearing in 2024-25 as a regular candidate, this will be considered your first attempt for JEE Advanced eligibility.

  3. Eligibility for JEE Advanced 2025 & 2026:

    • Your first JEE Advanced attempt will be in 2025 (for the 2024-25 session).
    • You are eligible for two attempts (2025 and 2026), as the attempt count is reset with the first valid appearance in the board exams.

Hence, you will be eligible for JEE Advanced 2025 and 2026, with 2024-25 considered as your first attempt year.

Hope it helps !

Prachi Kumari 29th Dec, 2024

Hello,

Eligibility for admission to Jadavpur University depends on various factors, including the specific course you’re applying for and its cut-off requirements. Generally, for undergraduate engineering courses, the following conditions apply:

  1. Minimum Marks : Jadavpur University often requires a minimum of 60% in aggregate in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics for engineering.
  2. Cut-off Ranks : Admission is also based on WBJEE or JEE Mains ranks.
  3. Category Quota : As an OBC candidate, you may have some relaxation in cut-off ranks compared to general category candidates.
  4. Subject Eligibility : Ensure that you meet the subject-specific requirements for the course you wish to apply for.

Hope it helps !

pavani lekkala 27th Dec, 2024

Hi,

Generally, bubbling the incorrect center code can lead to complications, but it doesn't necessarily mean automatic disqualification or rejection. The best course of action is to contact the exam authorities as soon as possible to explain the situation and seek guidance on how to proceed

hi, i lost my neetug 2019 result,so i got neet qualify clearance paper from nta approved but got rejected by nbe , what should i do , and i couldnt upload rectified docx within given period of time , what should i do please let me know , can i get one more chance to upload docx discriminacy

Afreen 24th Dec, 2024

If you were unable to upload your rectified NEET document within the designated correction window timeframe, it is highly unlikely that you will be given a second chance to upload it as the NTA (National Testing Agency) usually does not reopen the correction window once it closes.

Reach out to the NTA through their official channels like email or helpline number to explain your situation. While unlikely, there might be a rare circumstance where they might consider a late submission if you have a valid reason and supporting documentation.

Regularly check the official NEET website for any announcements regarding potential extensions or correction window re-opening, although this is very uncommon.

If you cannot rectify your document, you might need to consider preparing for the next NEET 2025 exam if you still wish to pursue medical studies and remember to fill your documents properly to avoid another rejection.

Annu Kumari 20th Dec, 2024

The minimum age of the candidates must be 17 years by the December 31,2026 to be eligible for the exam. But as you won't be 17 years, you won't be able to give exam. However, you can utilise this time to prepare more for the exam. Many of the student even take a drop to make their fundamental strong and to score better in the exam. You can also utilise your time to make strong foundation of the subject and as you will get more time ,you can practice many mock test and sample papers that will definitely boost your preparation and will enhance your score. So, instead of thinking the situation as negative, you can bring the positivity in mind that yo have got extra time for preparation. To know more about NEET preparation, visit NEET preparation tips

Why do I have multiple ranks in clat result Can get admission if my rank is 29789 in ai and 299 in bc tamilnadu list?

Deepti Singh 9th Dec, 2024

Hello,

In CLAT, candidates get multiple ranks: All India Rank (AIR) for overall performance and Category Rank (CR) based on reservation categories like BC (Tamil Nadu). With an AIR of 29,789, admission to top NLUs might be challenging due to higher cutoffs. However, your BC Tamil Nadu rank of 299 enhances your chances under the state or category quota.

College Predictor Tool:

Use online CLAT college predictor tools to estimate your admission chances. These tools analyze your ranks, category, and preferences to suggest likely NLUs or other law colleges. For example, Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University or reserved seats in mid-tier NLUs might be accessible with your BC rank.

Next Steps:

  • Check state-specific quotas and NLU cutoffs.
  • Participate in all counseling rounds, as cutoff ranks may fluctuate.
  • Explore private and state law colleges as backups to secure a good institution.
