Although there are dozens of branches in engineering but only few of them are evergreen. Here, evergreen means courses which are high in demand in job markets. You could easily get a job that pays you good salary. Considering both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering has great scope.
In Electricals, you can prefer Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Present as well as future of an electronic & communication engineer is very bright. It is always an evergreen branch. So an electronic engineer has not to bother about its future.
