To take yup JEE its mandtory to take 5 subjects in PU and the five subjects are Language Physics Mathematics, ( Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational Subject) choose any 1 subject from the bracket, and any other subject.

You don't need to repeat whole 12th class again. You should go for just 1or 2 improvement exams and focus on them more so that you can get good marks. Even with your 2 improvement exams you can score above 75%.
