pdwords Student Expert 14th Aug, 2020
Hello,

If you want to apply in regular mode, then kindly check out the eligibility criteria of the college you're interested to apply, this information you can get from the prospectus of the college itself available on the official website, some colleges do specifically put criteria that candidates should have passed 10+2 within a stipulated time period, and not before that.

I have been graduate in 2017. And then I passed 10th class exam again in 2019. I will never use this new 10th marksheet anywhere . Then my old certificates from 10th to graduation are valid for govt job OR not. please reply.

Shreya Singh Student Expert 13th Aug, 2020

Hello,

Aa per the conditions you are stating, if you have never ever used you latest 10th marksheet anywhere then you can definitely use your old marksheet as your main marksheet because while you were pursuing graduation your old marksheet was used so it shouldn't create any problem further. Just provide everywhere the old marksheet.

Hope this helps.

What should I fill in "year of passing" in 12th field in CAT form 2020 if I passed 12th in 2016 and appeared for Improvement in all subjects in 2017 ? Also I have improved my percentage so which marks should I enter? Please Help. Remember I passed all my subjects in 2016.

yubi wa 21st Sep, 2020

Dear student,

It is a tricky situation but the answer is simple. You passed the senior secondary exam in the year of 2016 so you should mention 2016 as the year of passing. You are saying that you secured more percentage in improvement, then you can mention the improved grades in the form. But at the time of interviews, you will have to carry both the marksheets . Only The one with the more percentage , shall be considered valid. Which is the improved one in your case.

And lastly, dont worry . This does not affect the admission criteria .As long as you have cracked the entrance exam and proved your caliber for the respective exam, you are pretty much good to go.

mene 12th exam 2017 -18 me di ti agar me jee main ki exam 2021 me first time du to kya vo mera first attempt kahlayega or oske bad me two time or de sakunga please give me right suggestion. I have confused

ARYAN SAGAR 13th Sep, 2020
Dear student, if you have completed your exams in 2017-18 session, then it means that you have given your examination in 2018 and your passing year of class 12th board exams is 2018. In jee mains you are only allowed upto maximum three attempts to give the jee mains exam. The three attempts of yours are counted from the year in which you have passed the class 12. I'm telling you this because I had given my class 12th exams in 2018 and was part of session 2017 - 18.
If you think that you can apply in 2021 then you are completely wrong. You are not eligible to give the jee mains exam. Your all the three attempts are over whether you have given the exam or not. Your first attempt was over in 2018, second attempt in 2019, and third attempt in 2020, so you are not eligible to give jee mains 2021. It doesn't matter that you have given the exam in 2018, 2019 and 2020 or not.

Check the eligibility criteria for appearing in jee mains 2020 from the following link so as to get a rough idea for eligibility criteria for jee mains 2021:-
