i am a student of ignou and my status for assignment of BPC 003 which i submitted in March is yet not updated and showing the submission date of 2017... what should i do now

pdwords Student Expert 13th Oct, 2020

Hello,

IGNOU does take time to update the status of assignments, and this time due to covid there may be further delay, there's grievance cell for students of IGNOU, so you can try to reach out to them for your concerned query at https://igram.ignou.ac.in/, you should also see the status of other remaining assignments, if that has been updated, this too will, probably it's matter of time,

Yes you can take lateral entry into B.tech civil engineering right into the second year after completing diploma in civil engineering.
Most colleges require Diploma holders to have scored minimum 45% or 50% marks in their Diploma.

my sc certificate was issued in 2017 and it is online verified. i have uploaded the same on du portal for ug admission. is it valid or like obc i have to upload sc certificate issued after 31 march 2020?

Sreeja Siva 5th Oct, 2020

Hi,

The category certificate is valid until the authority who have issued the certificate cancel it. It depends on the guidelines issued by the Government of the respected state. However the caste certificate issued for a specific purpose should be used only for that one. For example if you take a caste certificate for educational purpose you can use it only for that. If you want to apply for a job then you can't use it. In that case you need to take another one stating the purpose.

Im BE MECH(2017)with no experience want to get a job which course digital marketing or ux/UI which is best for me ?

Aman Ghatiya 26th Aug, 2020

Hello Rahul, If you have no experience then I suggest you that go for digital marketing because it is quite simpler that UX/UI. Digital marketing is a theoretical subject when we study it but we can apply it practically on live project so if you want job then you only need theory knowledge in DM so hope you understand.

Hope you got your answer :)

Hello,

First of all there's no point thinking about the past, it's gone and if you want to do well in your career or even life, focus on the present, in order to achieve success in anything whether it's GATE that you want to try or some other government jobs, you have to study and put in the required efforts, there is no other way to success, have a positive mindset and attitude, in the meantime keep yourself busy, you may learn certain in-demand skills and improve yourself, sign up with job portals, and seek job opportunities, and in addition to this, keep preparing for the exam you want to appear, as you've done BTech in Civil Engineering, if not anything there are much scope in Ed-Tech industry, with the advent of technology and demand of quality education, this field is flourishing and you may take up various jobs such as Subject Matter Expert, Faculty or Content Development etc, at least when you'll invest your mind in something productive, it'll help in a good manner. And, in order to prepare for government exams, get acquainted with the syllabus, have the required study materials, go through previous year paper for analysis etc.

See, you have to understand we all have our own share of struggles but it's only up to us, to take the first step and be persistent to sail through this, you should try doing meditation and yoga, it'll calm you and further you'll get a deeper clarity regarding things in your life.
