I completed my 12 th in 2017 in biology science. After 12 th i completed one diploma course also. Now i want to do a degree in a recognizable university. Am i eligible to appear in the upes entrance test?

Arhana Chakraborty 2nd Mar, 2022

If you want to go for the course of Engineering, then you can't appear for the UPESAT examination as for UPESAT the upper age limit is fixed. For 2021, the age limit was that student born after or on October 1, 2000 are eligible. So as you can see that the upper age limit is around 21. As you have crossed the age limit you can't appear for it. But you can always apply for state Engineering for which in most of the cases there is no age limit.

Apart from this you can take admission in BSc courses as well or if you have done Diploma in any of the engineering stream then you can consider to go for the Lateral Entry BTech admission, in which you will be provided admission directly to the 2nd year of BTech/BE.

I hope this answer provides you some insight. Wish you a great eve!

sir if my 10 passing year is 2022 in nios and can I submit that certificate at neet 2023 documents,Ive already done my 10 class back in 2017??

Anurag Khanna 17th Jan, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

Yes definitely you can put that marksheet of class 10th in NEET 2023 application and your eligibility is determined through your class 12th result and that too from percentage of PCB not from your passing year or interval between class 10th and 12th, the reason being is there is no upper age limit till now, so you can definitely use that marksheet of class 10th in NEET 2023 application.

For your reference NEET eligibility criteria is given below  :

** You must have passed 10+2 from any recognized central/state board.

** English should also be in your curriculum of class 12th and also you should have passed in it.

** You minimum age should be more that or equal to 17 years by December 31st of the examination year, as per the current eligibility criteria.

** As of now there is no upper age limit for NEET but the case is pending in Hon'ble SC and by 2023 if the verdict comes then the upper age limit may be decided and it can be either 25 or as decided by SC.

There is no age limit to apply for TNEA and but for admission to Marine Engineering the upper age limit is 25 years and the candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English from a recognized board. And must have scored minimum 60% marks in PCM and minimum 50% marks in English either at 10 or 10+2 level. There is no bar on passing year of the qualifying examination that is 10+2 so yes, you are eligible to apply for TNEA Admission provided you must fulfill the above mentioned criteria. I have done BBA in 2017 now I want to do BBA LLB but there is doubt in LLB and BBA LLB which is good and beneficial for in future? I want to have some idea and how admission process works and all please let me know.

Ashish Ramtari 16th Dec, 2021

As you have already done Bachelor of Business Administration then you should go for only LLB. This is because bba.llb is pursued after the 12th class. And it takes 5 years  for completing BBA LLB. But if we talk about only LLB which you can do after graduation only then it takes only three years for completing. In BBA LLB integrated course the subjects comprises of BBA and LLB and you have already studied about BBA so there is no need to study again. According to me you should do only LLB for the purpose of getting meaningful knowledge and save time.
