No matter when the results are out the batch determine the year of passing if you are enrolled in the batch 2013-2017 you will have to put the passing year as 2017 which is clearly written on the top of the certificate.

And as you stated that the result are printed and out in 2018 and the date is mentioned at the bottom it is already understood that you have the batch of 2013-2017 and the results of the final year came out in January 2018, so there is no need to stress.

Yes you can because the rules of different colleges and Universities are different for providing admission to the gap students. However there are various colleges and Universities which does not provide admission to the students who have more than 4 or more than 5 years gap in their studies after under graduation. If you get admission in any college or university then you have to start master of science course again from the first year.

You haven't mentioned about your stream or choice of domain in your query, well.. in some domains , the eligibility criteria can give you a chance to get admitted in that courses .. But , I need to know first whether you want to do Undergraduate or post graduate course .and in correspondence courses , you can get admitted anytime as there is no age criteria .. and after H.S you can opt undergraduate or post graduate courses from there .

If you complete your course successfully without failing in any paper, then it might be possible for you to a good job. If you have placements at your college, then you can get job through those placements. Yes it is important to have a first class career but it is not impossible to get a job if you do not have a first class career. If you have the right skills for the job and also have done well in your engineering course then it might not be a problem. However, if you are good at programming then you should consider doing some extra certificate course that you can put om your CV to add some credibility to it.
