There are NEET aspirants who write the examination without attending any coaching or extra classes. Going to coaching classes can help you know some shortcuts or easier way to solve the question paper more efficiently.

Well definetly, you need base of 10'th chapters,specially properties of material which you learn't about lens and mirrors and as well refractive index.if you will in depth of these half optics has been and for half optics will be new that you haven't know much about that like fringes
