My name is Thallapelli Pavan Kumar.but in my ssc and diploma certificate My name written as Thallapelli PavanKumar without space between pavan and Kumar. And remaining documents like Aadhar ,PAN,Voter ID caste Etc documents are with space. Is there any problem in future jobs verifications?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 15th Feb, 2021
Hello,

Yes, this can create lot of problems in future because you name should be same in all your documents. Now, what you need to do is that you should apply for change/update in all your documents. In Aqdhar card for changing Name, Address, DoB, Gender, Mobile Number, Email) as well as Biometrics (Finger Prints, Iris & Photograph) you will have to visit Permanent Enrolment Center.

For PAN Card correction, you need to Request for the 'PAN change/correction' application form through the NSDL or UTI website.

For changes in Voter id card, Visit the official National Voters Services Portal:http://www.nvsp.in
Then, go to the option Correction of entries in electoral roll and then fill the form with details.

All this process might take 25 day to maximum 1 months.

I hope this helps.

hello In the certificate it does not have the last name Surname and there is a last name on my Government id card like Aadhar Pen Card etc. So there are some problems because a lot of fild required surname

Sharon Rose Student Expert 15th Feb, 2021

Hello,

You need to fill any application form as per class 10th certificate. As the surname is not printed on the class 10th certificate you can either change the name in the class 10th certificate or make an affidavit stating that both the names that are in class 10th certificate and other government photo identity card belongs to the same person. And you provide that affidavit during document verification.

i had given aadhar as proof for gate exam i had my name wrong in aadhar card i linked affidavit to it as proof now while going to exam can i take my aadhar as proof

Sharon Rose Student Expert 4th Feb, 2021

Hello,

You need to provide the aadhar card on the day of GATE examination in the respective examination centre. Photo identity needs to be provided to verify your identity whether the same Applicant is appearing for the entrance or not. So you do not have to worry if the name is wrong as you have affidavit stating that the name is wrong and the correct name is so and so. You can carry the affidavit, aadhaar card and GATE admit card to the examination centre.

I used my aadhar number in the registration form of JEE Mains 2021 but, can i carry my passport with me to the exam centre since my aadhar has not yet been updated.

Anurag Khanna 12th Jan, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Yes of course you can take you passport with you at exam centre of JEE-Main 2021 but note that if you have submitted your AADHAR Number as your Enrolment ID then you should compulsorily carry the ID Type which you have given in the JEE-Main application form so if your AADHAR Card has not been updated then also you can carry it there will not be any problem. So I will recommend you to carry either your AADHAR or AADHAR+Passport.

in my 10th 12th marksheet my father name is MOHD AHBAB KHAN but all other documents like in aadhar their name is AHBAB KHAN.i apply for jee and neet in 2021 so this will any effect in documents verification at the time of college admission.

Anurag Khanna 4th Jan, 2021

Hello Farhan,

If your father's name is different from the marksheets of class 10th and 12th then there is need to worry but that's the case where either the name is mis-spelt or the name is completely wrong but in your case if the Mohd. is missing from your father's name on AADHAR card then there is no need to worry and you have to mention the name of your father as mentioned on the AADHAR card in application forms of different competitive examinations and even in application form of JEE-Main it is clearly mentioned in the column of father's name that no prefix should be used before the name of either father or mother or even yours.
