I have completed B.sc mathematics with physics as allied subject... Am I eligible for AAI?(since it is given that B.sc with phy and maths can apply) and 1 more doubt... will AAI ATC exam be postponed?

Arhana Chakraborty 12th Jul, 2022

As you have Physics and Mathematics course in BSc, then you can obviously apply for the Airport Authority of India ATC examination. You should keep in mind that you need to score a minimum of 60% marks in your UG course, in order to be eligible for the examination.

**The postponement of the examination is dependent on the organizers of the examination. If the covid rates gets very high then it may get postponed but its not certain.

I hope this helps. Wish you a great eve!

meri percentile 93 jee main me aai haa to mughe kitna rank aar koon da nit milegha maa ews kisi categhry me aati hu

Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to tell you an exact figure of your rank because it keeps on changing every year depending upon various factors but yes we can help you with approximate figures on the basis of analysis of previous year's data.

See If we go through the analysis of marks Vs Percentile Vs rank for JEE-Main 2021 then according to the percentile mentioned by you in the question your EWS rank is expected to be in the range of 10000-12000 .

Note that the rank which is predicted is only the expected rank on the basis of previous year's data so your actual rank might vary depending upon current factors.

Based on such rank and category you can go for:-

  • NIT Srinagar National Institute of Technology
  • NIT Raipur - National Institute of Technology
  • NIT Silchar - National Institute of Technology
  • National Institute of Technology, Andhra Pradesh

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your JEE-Main rank or score you can use JEE-Main College Predictor:-

https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Based on such percentile, being an EWS candidate you have very good chances to qualify for JEE-Advance 2022 but still the cutoffs for this year have not released yet officially.

As the cut-offs are released along with the JEE-Main 2022 result so for now you can get an idea from JEE-Main 2021 qualifying cut-offs that are enlisted below :-

==>> Common Rank List (CRL) - 87.8992241-100.0000000 Percentile

==>> GEN-EWS - 66.2214845-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Other Backward Classes (OBC-NCL) - 68.0234447-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Caste (SC) - 46.8825338-87.8950071 Percentile

==>> Scheduled Tribe (ST) - 34.6728999 87.8474721 Percentile

==>> PwD - 0.0096375-87.8273359 Percentile

Note that in above table it is not the actual cut-off for JEE-Main 2022 but previous year's cut-off.

You can check out previous year's cut-off trends from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

Good Luck!!

I am Maths Hons graduate and had Physics in only 1 semesters. Am I eligible for AAI ATC JE exam?

Arhana Chakraborty 16th Jun, 2022

As per the AAI ATC JE examination notification, the eligibility suggests that the student need to have Mathematics and Physics as one of the subjects in graduation. Now its always expected from a student, that he/she must have the subject at least in two years of the UG course. As you have only semester, it may not cause any problem because in the official notification there are no mention of the years of study of the subject. Apart from this the student need to have 60% atleast in the UG course.

I hope this helps. Wish you a great eve!

Deepak Raja S 5th Dec, 2021

OBC certificate valid for one year only. Every year you need to reapply again. Because of many people's annual income will surely increase. So, try to get a new OBC certificate and try to submit it. Also, many institutions don't ask OBC certificate directly. They ask us to download an application form and ask us to get an attestation from a Tahsildar.
