The field has a high craze that takes it evergreen and requires immense hard work and dedication as well. Let me now clarify your question, many of the aeronautical colleges expect 60% in class 12 as to see their skills and the admission is based on merit on the basis of iit, aieee but iit is considered the best. Even then, there are some government engineering colleges which takes admission in aeronautical engineering on the basis of class 12th percentage. But they were not as good as others. So, better prepare for the entrance exam well and get placed in a good university which provides you with good placements as well. You will have a good scope in the future. Dear Abhinav, your jee mains percentile is very low for iiit Hyderabad. As per the previous year data or trends of admission in IIIT Hyderabad, there are very less chance to get admission in IIIT Hyderabad. But don't lose the hope you can try for another good college might be you get other good colleges too.

Dear Allwyn, there are Diploma courses that you can pursue in Aeronautical engineering but most of them run for 2-3 years and are full time courses. However, Pratham Institute of  Education has a 3 year Diploma course and offers this course through Distance Education. The basic eligibility criteria is tgat youbshould have completed your 10th.
