Aeronautics and astronautics both of them are engineers the only difference between them is aeronautics...they work with earth's surface like in helicopter, aeroplane and jets.

While astronautics deals with outside the earth's surface like rockets, satellites etc .

To be an aeronautical engineer one should have a graduate degree (B.E/B.Tech.) or at least a diploma in Aeronautics. ... The basic eligibility criteria for a BE / B.Tech is 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and must have a fairly high percentage of marks in the aggregate.

BE Aeronautical Engineering is a 4-year Under Graduate (UG) course with a specialization in the field of aviation and aerodynamics. 

Aeronautical engineers have a wide range of opportunities to choose from in terms of job opportunities such as Maintenance engineer, Design engineer, management in charge, mechanical engineer etc. After completion of graduation, one may opt to pursue further studies like M.E. and M.Phil.

For getting admission in BE Aeronanutical Engineering you need to qualify  JEE Advance and the minimum requirement for qualifying  JEE advance is 75% in 12 board for CBSE and you need to be in top 20 percentile in state board.After acheving these minimum requirement you can able to get BE AE.

With boards marks you cann't enter engineering college for pursuing Btech degree courses.To get admission in engineering college you need score card of entrance examination,score card may be state engineering entrance examination,central entrance examination (JEE MAINS OR ADVANCE EXAMINATION).Private body entrance examination (BITSAT,COMEDK).If you want join government engineering college and it's equivalent engineering college then you need to qualify their entrance examination with good score.
