Aerospace Engineering is an engineering branch which inculcates the skills and knowledge to design, manufacture and maintain spacecraft, missiles and weapons systems. Aerospace Engineering deals with two major and overlapping branches- Aeronautical Engineering and Astronautical Engineering.
For admission in Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, basic eligibility criteria is atleast 60% in PCM in Class 12. Computer science isn't compulsory but it's advised to go for it keeping in mind both long term and short benefits of computers in today's advancements. For admission in top engineering colleges of India, one must obtain a good rank in JEE mains and JEE advanced. For getting a license in Aircraft maintenance engineering, clearing exams under DGCA is important.

Dear Aspirant,
There are so many talented people like you who can't afford to study abroad. But if you are sure that you want to study abroad then you can check various ways to fund your education such as scholarships, education loans, etc.
You can either move out after your 12th with excellent marks or after completing your graduation. There is one more option that you can go abroad for PHD after your masters. There's enough time for you ahead to achieve your dream so for now you can focus on your JEE MAINS and do research about study abroad if you want to move right after your 12th.
If you wish to go for the MS in Aerospace Engineering, then apart from the BTech in Aerospace Engineering, you can go for the Mechanical Engineering. Mechanical Engineering is a broader field and the curriculum of Mechanical Engineering can make your life ahead easier and as an Aerospace Engineer, your background of Mechanical Engineering will be of great value. So if you wish to go for any other fields, then I would recommend you to go for the course of Mechanical Engineering.
