Thank You
Dear Aspirant,
The rank with this mark is heavily dependent on the difficulty of the question paper, the total marks of the paper, the number of students attempting the exam.
For instance, in a year this mark yielded about 2 - 3 k rank but in some other year it yields about 7 - 8 k rank. It all depends on the question paper. Going by previous year trends we can say that you have a good chance of getting Aerospace in IIT B with this mark. For more information about the cutoffs please check the link below.

IIEST have abundant things to say. The professors are cooperative and helpful. Designing is taught through MMS lab and CAD lab. In 3rd year, students go to IITK for flight laboratory. Many of the student do internships at HAL, DRDO, etc.
On the second hand PEC is also definitely better college for aerospace engineering. It had Kalpana Chawla as it's student. PEC is itself a reputed institution of the Punjab Government.
Choose wisely.
Good luck!
The average package is around 6-7 lakhs, the lowest package is about 2-3 lakhs and the highest package was 27 lakhs offered by Amazon to students of computer science and IT departments. (now they have computer science department only).
Best of luck!!
Hello!
Apart from Aerospace and Aeronautics, You will have scope for designing Drones, Machine guns, Missiles and other military equipments if you take courses like B.Tech in Mechanical, Nuclear, computer science, Electrical, etc.
After you have completed your Engineering, you can join the Defence forces as well where they will train you specifically in these subjects.
You can even look into the Ordnance Factory Board, It is the world's largest government-operated production organization and the oldest organization run by the Government of India for the production of military weapons and ammunition. You will need to clear UPSC examination in order to get into it.
Hope this helps!

I would guess that for the general and OBC categories, respectively, any score between 46 and 47 and 44 and above would earn a seat in ME-Aero. The cutoffs I indicated earlier are merely estimates. Give or take two points, any way.
I would advise you to enrol in ME - Avionics rather than ME - Aero because the former has greater on-campus and off-campus placement opportunities, whilst the latter will require more effort on your part and have only a few organisations that will accept one applicant each. However, IT businesses will undoubtedly hire you. If you don't have a backlog when campus placements are taking place, getting a job at an IT service provider like Infosys, CTS, IBM, etc. won't be a problem for you even though you're from ME-Aero.
According to your query, I think there is possibility to get into MIT for Aerospace Engineering.
