what are the differences between aero space engineering and aeronautical engineering? what are the current growth of opportunities?

Anonymous 12th Apr, 2018

Dear Thrinadh,

Aerospace engineering is concerned with designing and building aircraft and spacecraft. A bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering would likely include both specializations, whereas a bachelor's degree in aeronautical engineering would focus solely on those vehicles that fly within the Earth's atmosphere.

Both have good scope in the future

got 70 marks in Mains having sc qota,is it possible to get IISC aeronatical or aerospace engineering

Devika 21st May, 2018

Hey Ravi, I couldnt find any such course at IISc Bangalore. It is an Institute with research fields focussed so no B.tech courses are offered by them. Infact, the only UG program they offer is Bachelor of Science. You have scored less marks in Jee mains but still you can

K. Vinesh 20th May, 2018

Respected Sir,

Thanks for contacting Career 360.

Congrats on getting both the colleges. If you have got VIT Velore, then you should definitely go for it.

However, IIST is way better than other VIT. And moreover being a government college , it has low fees and better facilities for space

I have scored 94% in board exam and 25000 rank in jee main and 65% in kcet would I get aerospace seat in iist?

Renu Sri 20th May, 2018

Hii

First let me clarify you that IIST gives admissions only on the basis of JEE Mains rank and Im sorry to tell you that with the rank obtained by you it's difficult to get an admission into it.

You can check the cutoffs in the following link.
