No NITs offer Aerospace engineering branch and only few IITs offers this branch.Apart from IITs and NITs ,some colleges that Aerospace engineering branch are:SRM UNIVERSITY,L.P.U,SASTRA UNIVERSITY,P.E.C,and some comedk colleges.For course related details you can visit these colleges websites.

Yes IIT Bombay has been pioneer into Aerospace Engineering.

IIT Bomvay has state of faculty and Infrastructure for practical exposures.
They offer both Btecha nd Mtech into Aerospace Engineering, to know more details check below:-

see apart from aerospace engineering, you could look at aeronautical engineering offered I think by Manipal University, SRM to name some. You could apply to IISt - they have avionics too. However admissions to IIST is through JEE Advanced.

To qualify for Aerospace engineering one must be eligible to give exams like JEE mains for all NITs and Jeee Advanced for all IITs.

You can also apply for Aerospace engineering via MhCET for colleges based out of Maharashtra.
The course basically deals with study of Aircraft maintenance, aerodynamics, Flight

Cuttoff doesn't matter here. you need to have minimum of 95% in +2 to get into merit list of sastra

There is no entrance test to get into MIT as you will have to attend the single window counseling conducted by Anna University as seats will be filled on the basis on TNEA score.

Aerospace branch is new branch in Sastra university. 

Generally, there is a less scope of this branch at UG level mostly companies preffered to take students from IITs. 

In private Amrita and SRM provides good placements. 

 

Sastra University provides good placements for other core branches.
