I have got aggregate marks of 168.5 in TNAU and my rank is 7930 will i able to join in agriculture college Coimbatore

Tamajit Biswas Student Expert 27th Jun, 2019

Hi Glady,

With the aggregate marks scored by you and the rank secured by you, firstly you have to apply for the counseling of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University and be present for the same as per the counseling date after which if your marks meets the cut-off only then you would be allotted a seat in TNAU. As per previous year cutoff marks, it was around 198.04 for admission so you have a low possibility for admission yet again you have to be present for the counseling as the cutoff varies year to year. This year the cutoff is around 180 for Open category candidate.

BEST WISHES!

What about the placement in the agricultural business management

Aman Yadav 22nd May, 2019

Greetings Shawn!

Hope you're doing great.

The agricultural products were marketed to the customers through a lot of middlemen. This scenario has changed a lot with the advent of new marketing concepts. These concepts have paved way to the development of Agribusiness Management field. One of the most popular courses available in this field is the Master of Business Administration in Agribusiness. This course will enable the candidates to develop new ideas to market the agricultural products to the customers. Thus after completing this course, one can pursue their career in various private and government sector agricultural organizations.

Placements: A good college like MANAGE, NAARM can easily get your package of 6–7 lacs per annum, even if you are an average student. Highest could go in the range of 12–14 lpa. If you are a student of any other college other than Manage, you need to be in cream to get a package of 7–8lpa. Most importantly it's your soft skill that matters, so refine it and you will be get placed decently.

Hope this will help. Do reach out in the comment section if you need any help.

All the very best!
