what is scope of agriculture engineering in modern times

S. Saha Student Expert 10th Dec, 2020

B.Tech Agricultural Engineering is one of those courses that is opted by many students nowadays. Agricultural Engineers can find numerous opportunities in State Farms, National Seeds Corporation Limited and Food Corporation of India etc. The companies hire agricultural engineers under various job roles like Agricultural Crop Engineer, Agricultural Specialist, Agronomist, Qualitu assurance officer, Soil Scientist, etc. Even if the candidates are more interested towards the research field, then you have enough opportunities here.

Agricultural engineers get lot more opportunities in government sectors like district or Tahsil level. Private jobs are available in Tractor Companies, Food processing and Dairy Firms, Fertilisers and seed companies. You can also go for higher studies as ICAR recruits many M.Tech graduates and PhD students as faculties in ICAR recognized Institutes.

As per previous years records, you rank might be around 35,000 to 40, 000 and with this rank you have very low chances to get government college sin Mahrashtra. However, you might get seat in GS Mandal's Maharashtra Institute of Technology, Aurangabad which is one of the top private college. to check your eligibility in different colleges, visit here:

pydah group of college of Andhra Pradesh : 1.70 lakhs kakinada institute of technology science : 1.4 lakhs college of agriculture engineering of bapatla : 40000 is yearly or monthly your provided information is useful but I have doubts about provided fee structure dear sir/madam

gauravvijayvargiya399 4th Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

The fees structure that you have mentioned above consists of the whole course or degree time. For example, for college of agricultural engineering, bapatla, which is of 2 years, the fees for one year is around 20000. So, for 2 years it would be 40000 as you have provided. So, the fees structure you have given is for the whole degree time .

For more information and details, you can visit the official website of each respective college about their fees structure.

Hope that helps.
