Amisha Soni 21st Sep, 2025

Hello dear candidate,

In counselling the first round of seat allotment in top college is quite tough but in later rounds you will get good options.

you are most likely to get admission in good ICAR/SAU college for agronomy, just not the very top ones.

list of colleges you are likely to get a seat:-

  • Punjab agricultural university, Ludhiana
  • CCSHAU, Hisar
  • GBPUAT, Uttarakhand
  • MPUA AND T, Udaipur

i got 162 in icar pg jrf in agronomy will i able to get any college under agriculture

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 25th Aug, 2025

With a 162 score in ICAR PG JRF (Agronomy), your chances depend on the cutoff for your category and the number of seats available in agronomy. Generally, top ICAR institutes like IARI Delhi, PAU Ludhiana, TNAU Coimbatore, GBPUAT Pantnagar, and UAS Bangalore require much higher scores (often 250+ for unreserved). With 162, admission to Tier-1 ICAR deemed universities is unlikely, but you still have good chances in state agricultural universities (SAUs), mid-tier ICAR colleges, and some central universities where the cutoff is comparatively lower. If you belong to OBC/SC/ST/EWS, your chances improve further.

recently give exam aiee pg in agronomy ... so result are not satisfactory can I possess seat in msc agronomy in angrau college , baptla any management seat or payment

SEJAL JAIN 17th Aug, 2025

Hello

If your AIEEA-PG results in Agronomy weren’t as expected, don’t lose hope, you may still have options. ANGRAU’s Bapatla campus and a few other agri colleges sometimes offer seats under management quota or payment (self-finance) categories, though these are limited and competitive.

It’s best to directly contact the college or check ANGRAU’s official PG admission notifications for updates on such seats. If available, you might need to apply separately or attend a counseling round. So stay proactive reach out, keep your documents ready, and don’t miss any deadlines

i was making a correction in major subject from abm to agronomy in icar pg and the correction has been made but while downloading the aplication its showing the same abm and now the correction option also disaapaered what to do now?

Prachi Kumari 7th Jun, 2025

Hello,

If your correction from ABM to Agronomy was saved but the application form is still showing ABM, and now the correction window is closed, then you should do the following:

  1. Take a screenshot of your correction page or any proof where it showed Agronomy after correction (if you have it).

  2. Contact ICAR/NTA helpdesk immediately. Explain the issue clearly and share your application number.

    • You can call them or email them.

    • NTA helpline: 011-40759000

    • Email: icar@nta.ac.in

  3. Mention everything — that you made the correction on time, it showed correctly, but the downloaded form still shows the old subject.

Don’t wait. Contact them as soon as possible so they can help before the admit cards are released.

Hope it helps !

Mai bsc agriculture ki student hun aur maine msc intrace ki koi entrance appear nhi ki hun to kya jungarh univercity me mera admission agronomy me ho jayega

Anushree Thakare 1st Jul, 2025

Hello student,

According to the official information, generally, a B.Sc. Agriculture graduate needs to appear for an entrance exam to get admission to an M.Sc. program in Agronomy at Junagadh Agricultural University (JAU).

It typically uses a merit-based system that combines the candidate's previous degree (OGPA/percentage) and their score on a entrance exam for M.Sc. admissions.

Check the official JAU website for the specific M.Sc. Agronomy admission notification. http://www.jau.in/coa/index.php/academic/3-initsection/academic/41-admission

Radhika Goyal 29th Sep, 2024

Hy,

In Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) , the number of seats available varies depending on the college or university, as well as the state or national regulations. There is no fixed number of seats for D.Pharm across all institutions, but here’s a general outline:

1. Number of Seats in D.Pharm Colleges :

  • Government Colleges : Seats in government colleges are usually more limited, ranging from 30 to 100 seats per institution, depending on the college’s infrastructure, faculty, and approvals from regulatory bodies like the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) .
  • Private Colleges : Private colleges tend to have a higher number of seats, ranging from 60 to 120 seats or even more in some institutions.
  • Deemed Universities : Some private or deemed universities might offer a large number of seats, sometimes exceeding 100 seats per batch .

2. Factors Affecting the Number of Seats :

  • Location : The number of seats can vary based on state and local educational policies. For example, some states may offer more seats in private institutions.
  • PCI Approval : The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) regulates D.Pharm programs, and they determine the seat allocation for each institution based on infrastructure, faculty, and other parameters.

3. General Seat Allocation Example :

  • In some states like Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, or Uttar Pradesh, D.Pharm courses can have anywhere between 50 to 120 seats in private colleges, while government colleges may offer a bit less.

How to Check Specific Seat Availability:

  • You can check the official websites of the colleges or the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) or other relevant state bodies to know the seat availability for D.Pharm in your preferred institution.
  • The Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) website may also have information on the approved number of seats per college.
