AICTE
Dear Student,
One of the main difference between University Grants Commission (UGC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), is that the later one basically deals with technical education and Technical institutes are overlooked by the AICTE, the other universities and colleges fall under the UGC.
UGC is the apex body that approves universities in the country. UGC provide funds for affiliated universities and colleges.
A candidate can get government jobs by both the colleges whether it is approved by UGC or AICTE.
Thank You.
Hi,
The duration of the M.C.A course was three years. It was in demand that the MCA course should be of two years duration. Considering this UGC approved this purposal. So now from the academic session 2020-2021 the M.C.A course will be of two years duration.
you can read the news about this decision on the link - https://news.careers360.com/aicte-reduces-duration-of-mca-degree-course-2-years

All the best for your bright future!
There are many approval agencies in India which approve colleges based on various parameters. Some of these are AICTE, PCI, BCI, UGC, NCTE, MCI, INC and others.
If your college is not approved by any of these agencies then it means that that authority has not given it affiliation due to any of the requirement may not be being satisfied. But it is good that it has been approved by AICTE.
All the best.

For B-School Placement Preparation tips : https://rbjiadvice.blogspot.com/
According to the Supreme Court, AICTE approval is required only when the course is being run by an institute. However, LPU is a full-fledged UGC-recognized university, hence AICTE approval is not required.
LPU is much better than any other University. It is a UGC recognized and a renowned University and is considered as one among top 5 universities of the country because of its quality education and unbeatable placements, immense on course exposures and a beautiful 600 acres campus to live in with latest facilities.
