These are most famous college of UPTU ( Uttar Pradesh Technical University ) after Government College of UPTU .

These are classified on the basis of Placement:

1.)JSS Noida ( it is a trust college and they provide much better placement any other colleges.) It is also much closer to delhi.

2.)Gagotias college : It is also good. It provides wonderful placement. But this college is more expensive than JSS.

In terms of infrastructure and location Gagotias college is better. In terms of facilities and faculty JSS is better 

These both colleges are better than AKGEC.

You can choose your college between the better two colleges i have mentioned according to your preference.

Academics wise AKGEC has had better reputation in the past. I don’t have any ideas about EE specifically.

But, for KIET, I must say that the college exposure has drastically got better in the recent 2–3 years. But, the faculty for EE at KIET are average. I’d say that 40% faculty are really good while others are average. I switched my branch to EC due to personal reasons (not due to EE department issues), but earlier I was allotted EE only and I spent a few weeks studying it. I did not find many faculties up to the mark. But the ones who are good, are really good at their work.

But if student motivation is present, then KIET is a fine place to nurture it. AKG has a lot of strictness in its curriculum while students at KIET, explore certain more horizons by themselves and the management supports it.

Also, there have been good placements from EE at KIET in certain core companies at 7 LPA + packages as well. HUL, TorrentPower, Byjus and many more recruited from our batch. HUL offers a CTC of appxm 10 LPA and it is open for EE students. So the overall placement from our batch was fine.

Though, it varies from year to year and the maximum placement is through mass recruiting IT companies only.

You are absolutely gonna get admission in these colleges.  Because when i gave this exam in 2018 in secured 12443 rank in GEN category and 3034 in OBC . And i am also UP domicile. So on the basis of all this i got AKG ( ME BRANCH ) in first round. So according to your rankings you might get KIET or AKG in 2nd or 3rd Round. But their is maximum possibilty that you might get admission in ABES in first round. But keep in mind that you fill up your choices accordingly like :

1. AKG

2. KIET

3.ABES

Arranging them in correct order ( the order in which you want your college prefernces ), is very important.

I am assuming you a general candidate (for reserved category it will be much easier) As per previous year cutoff and trends you have to secure rank under 1k to get top branches else 5k rank is sufficient to get in  Akgec by last round

First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance and I would like to tell you that on such decent rank you can surely get any government college of your choice. Although it would be difficult for you to achieve a seat in computer science and engineering in iet lucknow which is best government college under upsee but you can get other branches in this college. Along with this you would easily get rest of the government college.

yes you will get just get descent rank in uptu or upsee exam.If you are from uttar pradesh then it will helps you a lot. and incase if you are from any reserved category then it will be much easier to get a seat with good branch !!!
