which is better for civil engineering AKGEC or MMM??

Abhishek Roy 27th Oct, 2020

I belive MMMUT, Gorakhpur is a much older technical institute with good infrastructure and outlook. Hence as far as Core branches are concerned, you should perhaps prefer MMMUT over much newer AKGEC. Placements in Civil are bleak at MMMUT however their is an increasing trend of students preparing for GATE Exam in their final year and pursuing Masters degree or PSU Jobs post Bachelors degree.

i got 87% in 12th boards, can i get admission in ajay kumar garg engineering college through my 12 boards percentage

Nikhitha Sai 10th Oct, 2020

Hello Student,

It is not enough to get apply to colleges based on 12th marks alone as they look for other entrance examinations such as JEE Mains. These exams serve as a criteria for not only this university or many other such universities. However, just based on the score you have given, 87% in 12th boards is a good mark. However we cannot guarantee a seat in the top courses based on this alone.

As the competition keeps increasing you need to score more marks and include exams such as JEE mains in your profile as they have become very important in recent years. Hence assuming you have a decent enough score in such entrance exams this score of 87% should be enough to get you into the university into a good course of your choice.

Which is well known and best for btech cse? Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College or IIMT College of Engineering?

Anurag pal Student Expert 24th Sep, 2020

Hey dear, ajay kumar garg college and iimt college are both located in uttar pradesh. As far as b.tech in cse is concerned i would advice you to go for iimt college of engineering as it is a bit older university than ajay kumar garg and it has better campus and facilities too. For cse iimt has better placements too with good  faculty.

Which among IIMT college of engineering , Noida Institue of engineering and technology and Ajay Kumar garg engineering college is best for btech cse ?

Palak kumari 16th Sep, 2020

Hey mohit,

According to my research on all of these colleges, I would suggest you to go for NIET(Noida Institute of engineering and technology) because it is a pretty good college, the faculties are friendly also the placement statistics is increasing every year. On comparing these three colleges

College       highest package           avg package

IIMT                  16 LPA                                 3-4LPA

NIET                   22LPA                                      3.5-5

AKGEC                10lpa                                       3.3lpa

Now,you can clearly see that there is not much difference in IIMT and NIET but still NIET has better placement statistics than IIMT.

Also, it is NAAC A accredited along with NBA and NIRF ranking is 49.And also this year, it has been turned to an autonomous college which has another advantages.

Hope it helps.

Good luck!

Hi dear!! Hope you are doing well!! If you aaj in terms of placement, then Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering college is a lot better then KIET Group of institutes  in terms of placement and other opportunities in college. Faculty wise also AKGEC has much more experienced and supportive faculty. CS and IT have almost same placement, but you should go for CS as it wil get you a better option during placements.

is their any college form for akg college... Im applying in upsee exam also but still their is any other way to get the direct admission in akg college ???

Anantika Kushwaha 8th May, 2020
Hello Kartika,

A candidate can get direct admission in AKGEC under management quota. AKGEC takes admission on the basis of UPSEE or JEE Mains marks. So if not for UPSEE you can apply with JEE Mains score. And you can also avail management quota admission in the college.
