Hello Varun!
For applying in AKG ie. Ajay Kumar Garg, you need to score a high rank in UPSEE exam. Ajay Kumar Garg has a list of different area of interest offered on different ranks. If you want to take CS then you need to score minimum rank of 2000. For IT it is 3000 , mechanical its is 8000 and for civil and electrical its is 10000.
Good luck!
Hello,
as per your percentile, your predicted rank will be 2,08,562 which will change after the april session of JEE main.
The colleges name you mentioned in your question they majorly use UPSEE to given admission to the candidates. Some colleges accept JEE main but they have not provided the jee main cutoff list for different branches which make impossible to say that you can take an admission or not.
your rank may not make you eligible for it if it increases any further. So better to try government college using your categorical rank for admission who accepts JEE main.
see for NIT or IIIT campus and check cutoff for general and OBC category. check which one you are eligible and choose one which you feel suitable for you.
Here is the list of colleges you can apply for admission:-

Hello dear student,
Greetings!
Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow, and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education.
Placement scenario is not good for EEE branch. When it comes to placement then Placement is good for computer and science students and information technology students. Nearly 70% of students got placed from these branches. When comes the talk of mechanical and other branches then there is not zero but very low placement. Students generally prefer gate from these branches.
Thankyou
Hi Shani,
As per the academic calendar of Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad they have their sessional exams which is scheduled from Monday to Saturday which very much indicates the fact that they also have their classes scheduled from Monday to Saturday so to answer your question yes AKGEC, Ghaziabad presumably has classes on Saturdays not only for first years but also for other years also.
BEST WISHES!
Hello Aspirant,
It seems like you are interested in your admissions. However, the matter of buying your seat with donation in any of the colleges/universities is not an appraised option available in an official way. Though, every year many cases come up to public eye that students are now literally buying their seats. You can directly contact the college authorities if there is any such provision that you are interested for. It's better to have a conversation directly with the college authorities. Good luck!
As per the past year rankings among the above mentioned colleges AKGEC is better for B.Tech. in terms of academics and placements. Although your choice might also depend on the fact that which college you are getting and which branch you are interested in. All the other colleges also provide very good education and you can go for any of them if you are interested in a partricular branch and not getting that in other colleges. Hope this helps.
Hello student,
Placement in this college is good. Around 60% of ECE students and 90% of CS students are placed in the previous year. Many companies like HCL, Infosys, TCS, Indian Navy, etc. are come to hire students during placement. The average salary offered by the company was 3.60 LPA. The college has the placement cell, and the HOD of ECE branch is the head of training and placement department.
ear Aspirant
First of all Congratulating you on your nice performance that you deserve both of the nice colleges and I would like to tell you that based on the two choices if you were to take my opinion then I would suggest you choose ages since it is one of the best private colleges under upset which has nice placements and facilities. It has an edge over Jaypee.
Good luck for your counseling :)
Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
Hi Aspirant, in my opinion, these two colleges are nearly equivalent. But considering overall in aspects like faculties, infrastructure, placements, labs etc KIET looks a better option for me.
The choice of your college should also depend on the branch they are offering. Choose the branch you like.
Hope this helps. Regards
