Guru Teg Bahadur Institute of Technology, New Delhi, is a privately owned institute, Established in the year 1999 by Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, the institute is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. It is approved by AICTE. GTBIT is a degree level technical institute.  The college has facilities such as library, gym, laboratories, cafeteria, hospital, etc. The college provides decent placements, and mostly, students get hired by mass recruiter companies such as TCS and Infosys. There is however, no alumni network, and high paying jobs are provided only by off-campus recruitments.

ABES Engineering College is a privately owned institution affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University). ABESEC provides many facilities and infrastructure for the students and faculty such as separate hostels for boys and girls,  internet, swimming pool, fitness and wellness centre, floodlit stadium, auditorium, library etc. About 80% of the students get placed every year in  this college. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 5-6 LPA. The lowest salary package offered ranges between 3-4 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc., visit the college for placements.

Both the colleges are therefore, good. Although, I think ABESEC is better in terms of faculty, facilities and placements, for CS/IT.

It's difficult to say but in most cases if you faik to present your reservation certificate your category rights are removed and you are automatically considered in the unreserved category.

But for safe side I will suggest you to discuss this query with the counseling authority by mailing them or contacting them on the number provided on their official website. They will help you with this.

Look, both colleges are good in their own regions. But ,I will prefer gtbit. One get into good product based companies, in GTBIT, whose pay fall in the range of ~3lpa to ~5lpa, then even though the payment may be less, but still chances are that you will get an environment to learn and work upon good cutting edge technologies, thereby, overall providing you a prett good platform. Also the work experience in these product based firms is far more industry credible than that of the service based companies, considering your career start after just completing under-graduation.

since you belong to the creamy layer for the OBC category so , you won't be able to get any benefit under reservation.

you have to work hard and do not depend on any quotas or reservations under categories in colleges.

I personally believe the biggest advantage any circuital or core branch of GGSIPU has over Kamala Nehru, is due to the location. GGSIPU has better Infrastructure, Faculty, Placements and Employer Outlook . Being located near Industrial and IT Hubs at Delhi NCR, further provides impetus to training and placement opportunities. GGSIPU, has an excellently strong alumini base with many being distinguished researchers and professionals settled in various parts of the world.
